Each year we start the school year off with a weekend of fun and excitement as we go away and really get to know each other. If you’re a freshmen or transfer, then this is definitely a weekend that you won’t want to miss because Fall Retreat is where you can really get to know other students involved with The Dive and make friends that will last your next four or five (or six) years at Kent and even beyond graduation!

This year we’ll be heading to Beulah Beach up on Lake Erie in Vermillion. You’ll have the choice to camp in a cabin or tent (cost will vary for each) and enjoy all of their activities which include the athletic fields for most outdoor sports; the water front for canoeing and tubing; a game room with pool tables, foosball and ping pong; and much more! One thing’s for certain: You won't have time to be bored this weekend!

On top of everything the beach has to offer, we’ll be bringing in our guest speaker Grant Scott, the Regional Director for Campus Crusade for Christ’s Great Lakes Region. We’re also going to try something new this year and offer a few “break-out” sessions for you, where you can get the chance to learn from the experiences of older students about a variety of topics!

If that’s not enough to sell you on the weekend, then keep checking back as we update you with more information or sign-up for our e-mail list to make sure you get updates on all the activities we have going on around campus!
